A Mother's Love
Mother's love is something that no one can explain
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain.
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
It never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking
It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation
A many splendored miracle man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

I have been blessed with 4 beautiful children who give me great pleasure and great pain! These pages are a continuing work of love for them all ... Jade, my eldest ... Casey, my second ... Lauren, my third ... and Robert, my fourth and last! I loved every second of being pregnant, even the morning sickness, the bulging bellies, the backache and the pain of labour! ;D If I could I'd have ten more babies, but alas this poor old body couldn't cope! lol

Parenthood isn't easy. It has its ups and downs, its happiness and tears, its successes and its failures. I have tried to raise my children the best way I could, teaching them, amongst other things, love, compassion, understanding and pride. I have no idea whether I have succeeded with Jade and Casey, with Lauren and Robert I still have that onerous task ahead of me! No matter what my children do with their lives, I will always love them regardless. Okay, if they become hardened criminals I'm not going to be overly pleased, but I WILL still love them!! ;D My one hope is that I have raised them well enough that they will be decent human beings and will always take others' feelings into consideration. If I have succeeded there, I will be a very happy Mum/Mom!! :D

The hardest part about keeping these pages going is that Casey is so far away from me. Over 16,600kms of sea and land separate us and I miss him terribly! :~( Jade has now moved to Germany to live with us, which I am VERY happy about, and while Casey remains in Australia with his father, he is always here with me in my heart! Both Jade and Casey are still my babies, no matter how old they are, and I am very, very proud of them both!!! :D

I hope you enjoy my children as much as I do and I look forward to updating these pages as often as possible :D
