John Thomas Straughair did marry and have children, but at this point access is unavailable to births post 1920. I will endeavour to add any information I can access at a future date. I have been in touch with a descendant of John and Maud's, however, I need to wait for permission to publish this information on my website. I also have a conflict of dates. Julie has stated John's year of birth as 1896 and yet I have the registration above. I've put in the day and month she's given me, but with the year 1896 until I can clarify this. He apparently died at the age of 71.
